About the client
Wooni is a mobile app that simplifies finding and renting long-term housing in the Netherlands. The app brings rental listings together in one place, providing users with a modern, transparent, and efficient platform to search for their ideal living space.
Challenge
The Dutch rental market is spread across numerous websites and outdated apps, where landlords post their listings at varying times. This makes it difficult for people to find the right home quickly. To secure a viewing appointment, renters must act fast and be among the first to contact the owner, which often leads to high competition and stress.
Also, the unclear and inconsistent rental process created room for shady practices and services, making it even harder for renters to find long-term housing.
Solution
Our team worked closely with the client to understand their vision and the issues renters face in the Netherlands. Through workshops and discussions, we identified the key features needed to create a user-centric platform that addresses the main issues in the long-term rental market.
After conducting user interviews with expats moving to the Netherlands and property managers, we designed an intuitive and user-friendly interface. We gathered feedback to ensure the app not only looks nice but also creates value for the market overall.

Wooni offers two subscription options: Free and Pro. Free users can access basic features, while Pro users unlock advanced features like extra filters, saved searches, and push notifications. This tiered approach allows users to tailor their experience based on their needs and preferences.
