White-label software refers to solutions created by developers to be rebranded and leased to other companies to use and promote as their own. For example, a travel company might license a basic booking mobile app from a developer, add its own branding and logos, and promote it as its own application.

White-label software can be set up quickly and easily, saving effort, time, and costs associated with custom development. However, it has downsides like limited functionality, scalability, and customization. Additionally, the software never truly belongs to the purchasing company, and any issues with the developer can directly affect the software.
